Watch the official video course

Microsoft Learn publishes a free 16-part video course for AB-100 on its YouTube channel — 9 hours 27 minutes of instructor-led walkthroughs, with one or two episodes per module of the Learn path. It is genuine Microsoft training content, unlike everything else on this site, so treat it as the primary source and these notes as the revision layer on top.

Topic information

Nine areas from the skills outline are easy to under-prepare — Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, connection references after a production deployment, the Copilot Studio analytics surface, Dynamics 365 design components, voice agents, managed solutions, ROI tooling, the model router, and semantic indexing. Several have been renamed recently, so older study material gets them wrong.

How to use this site

A three-pass approach works well if you have roughly a week.

PassWhat to do
FirstWork through the eleven modules in order. Watch the matching video episode or read the Learn module, then read the study page here. Do not memorise — aim to recognise the vocabulary and the decision points.
SecondTake the mock exam in practice mode, one module at a time. After each module, re-read the study page sections you got wrong.
ThirdTake the full 110-question exam mode run under time. Anything below 70% in a module sends you back to that page. Read the topic information and the cram sheet the morning of the exam.

Before you sit the exam

The cram sheet condenses all eleven modules into one printable page: the highest-yield facts, the decision rules examiners love to test, and the distinctions that are most often confused.
